Travel allowance

Authorised Dealers are advised of the following amendment to Section B.4 of the Exchange Control Rulings:

Section B.4(C)(iv)(d)(cc)

The second paragraph has been deleted and substituted with the following:

“A traveller whose visit extends from the current year into the following year may be accorded foreign currency in respect of the next year’s facilities without returning to the Republic.”

A replacement page of the Exchange Control Rulings incorporating the relevant amendment is attached hereto.
